Entry Requirements
The entry requirements depend on the age of the candidate who is applying for admission.

Secondary School Entry Requirements (7 Year Course)
- Must be of appropriate age for Year 7 admission (11 years old). The course is designed for students to progress in the Islamic Studies/Arabic Curriculum alongside the National Curriculum subjects. Very few exceptions are made for this requirement and will require more detailed entry exam to ascertain suitability of candidate and proposed year of entry.
- Entry exam and interview – tests will be taken for English and Math (Key Stage 2) along with basic Islamic Studies and Quran reading. This will be followed by one to one interviews which will also include important aspects such as the safeguarding awareness of the pupil.
- A short questionnaire for medical and safeguarding requirements will need to be completed by the parent/guardian within one week of the entry test by the parent/guardian.
- Latest previous/current school report with details of student conduct and estimated/target KS2 scores.
Sixth Form/College Entry Requirements (3 Year Course)
- Must be of appropriate age for Sixth Form admission (16+ years). The course is designed for students to wish to specialise in the Islamic Studies/Arabic Curriculum. The course also incorporates aspects for life skills, safeguarding and preparation for life after studies. Additional options are available at an additional cost to the learner/parent and information can be found on the the Open Day.
- Entry exam and interview – tests will focus on Islamic Studies and Quran reading. This will be followed by one to one interviews which will also include important aspects such as the safeguarding awareness of the pupil and previous achievements such as GCSE grades and/or other academic achievements.
- A short questionnaire for medical and safeguarding requirements will need to be completed by the parent/guardian within one week of the entry test by the parent/guardian.
- Latest previous/current school report with details of student conduct and target/actual GCSE grades.
